Panos has 11 years of work experience in the printing and book-binding business, while he has also worked in logistics. Over several years he worked with Christos at Desmos’ Athens hub storage facilities, coordinating the facilitation of in-kind donations and making sure they are distributed as soon as possible to their final recipients. He continues to offer his services coordinating the facilitation of in-kind donations through the office of Desmos

Fun fact: Panos started off at Desmos as a volunteer; he loved our Friday deliveries to charitable organizations and we loved his dedication and passion, so it was a match!

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
