“DESMOS GIVES WARMTH!” – WINTER 2014-2015 REPORT

The program “Desmos Gives Warmth!” has concluded its third year this winter.

This year’s campaign resulted in an increased impact, specifically yielding:

3.376 beneficiaries
53 donations in heating fuel to social welfare organisations and schools throughout Greece
89.724 lt of heating petrol and 9.9 tonnes of pellet

Moreover, this year’s campaign created joy and hope that next year Desmos will be able to “give warmth” to even more people in need.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the program’s greatest supporters for this year, namely ELAIS – UNILEVER and The Latsis Foundation that contributed decisively to the campaign helping us reach out to even more organizations!

Desmos is grateful, as always, to all the volunteers who assisted in the completion of this year’s campaign!

"Desmos Gives Warmth" providing heating fuel to organizations and schools throughout Greece for the third consecutive year!!

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
