This June we were honored to be part of the biggest basketball event of the year: #AntetokounBros! An all-star game for everybody, without discrimination, with the slogan “We are All Bros!”. The sole purpose of the event was to promote sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork, and fans had the chance to be part of the event in two cities, both Thessaloniki and Athens on the 18th and 25th of June respectively.

Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo along with many more successful international athletes invited the public in a game without opponents, transmitting the joy and love of sports and basketball, for a world without racism, social discrimination and exclusions. A total of 23,000 people joined this celebration of sports and saw in person the ultimate all star game of the year, renewing the appointment for next summer!

Fans of all ages attended the AntetokounBros events in Athens and Thessaloniki, to see their idols, Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo as well as their younger brother Kostas and other legendary players and coaches, in a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch them play at the same court and even the same teams. A-list names such as Giannakis, Zivas, Papaloukas, Diamantidis, Hatzivrettas, Zisis, Dikoudis, Tsartsaris, Papadopoulos, Kakiousis, Bourousis, Printezis, Garbis, Gikas, Panagiotidis, Trikaliotis, Saloustros, Kotsopoulos, Shermadini, Kamperidis and even Kyle Hines from the USA participated with joy at this unique event!

The Desmos team was at the AntetokounBros Events 2017 in Athens and Thessaloniki and had surprises for the audience as, at the end of each match, attendees had the chance to win unique gifts signed by Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo! A total of 4 authentic Nike basketball T-shirts (2 from Giannis and 2 from Thanasis) and 4 authentic Nike basketballs signed by Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo were given away to lucky fans who had purchased lottery tickets from Desmos, supporting our work at the same time!
