Ladies Run and Desmos donated a projector and a laptop to the Hatzikyriakio Foundation, to be used in its IT and Robotics courses. The Hatzikyriakio Foundation has been offering shelter and education to orphan girls for over a century.
Ms. Anastasia Katsilieri, Director of the Hatzikyriakeio Foundation, received the equipment by Stella Alexandridou, the bronze winner of Ladies Run 2018, Kimon Fragakis, founder of Ladies Run and members of Desmos.
Ms. Katsilieri stated that “Through the support of Desmos, our Foundation can provide Information Technology and Robotics courses to its students, which are two of their favourite subjects.”
The equipment will be used as part of Spark, a program designed, managed and funded by Hellenic Hope, a non-profit organization established in the UK in 2013. The program was founded by Mr. George Koniaris, also a member of Hellenic Hope, and aims at helping Greek children with any kind of support needed.
