Non-profit organizations and citizens’ initiatives are stepping up to help provide medical care and assistance to the growing number of uninsured and otherwise vulnerable groups around Greece. We are in constant communication with social pharmacies, social clinics, NGOs in healthcare and humanitarian aid, etc. to record their needs in medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and valuable medical supplies.

To this day we have channeled 88.000€ from more than 300 individual and corporate donors to get essential supplies and equipment from gauzes to cotton pads to respiratory support equipment and defibrillators, to vaccines and dental equipment to healthcare operators throughout Greece.

Your donations not only help provide essential tools to doctors, nurses and clinics, they actually save lives.

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
