Ioanna Procopiou

Ioanna Procopiou was born in Athens in 1978. She holds the degrees of BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath, MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from City University London and has completed the Program in Leadership Development of the Harvard Business School. She is the the CEO of Sea Traders SA and the founder of Prominence maritime SA. Between 2003 and 2007 she worked in various departments of Dynacom Tankers Management and Dynagas Ltd. Between 2007 and 2009, she was the head of the Projects and S&P departments of Dynacom Tankers Management, Dynagas Ltd and Sea Traders SA. She is also a member of the board of the Union of Greek and Cypriot shipowners association and of the North of England P&I Club. She is also involved with real estate development, with building planning and renovations and with human resourcing.

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
