After receiving her degree in Civil Engineering, Elisa continued her studies in Architectural Conservation MA, at the University of Plymouth, UK.
Since 2016 she has worked in the humanitarian sector and more specifically at the Danish Refugee Council, supporting the operation of refugee accommodation facilities in Attica, where she worked initially in the technical department and then in the administrative department. This professional involvement was decisive for her to continue working in civil society organizations and her collaboration with Desmos confirms this.

She has been working at Desmos since 2022 and she enjoys her duties there as she directly covers basic needs of charitable organizations through individuals’ donations. She is responsible for the Health pillar, the “Desmos Offers Warmth” program and other tailored projects.

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
