If you want to work with a dynamic team and dedicate your time and talent to help those in need, we need you! Volunteering for Desmos is fun as well as valuable work experience.

Our volunteers are students who wish to learn more about the third sector in Greece and gain valuable experience through their CAS hours, young people who wish to gain work experience in a challenging and stimulating environment, professionals who wish to give back through their expertise or through entirely different tasks and retirees who are full of energy and want to make a difference!

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
