Elissavet is working as Sociologist CANCER GUIDANCE CENTRE – “KAPA3” . Her main duties are the reception of beneficiaries – information about the programme, recording of beneficiaries’ social history, creation and maintenance of a comprehensive individual beneficiary file, smooth integration of the beneficiary into the programme, procedures for referral to community-based services, contact and cooperation with institutions inside and outside the hospital, contacts for cooperation with other institutions in order to provide the possibility to support the beneficiaries at the socialisation and educational level, intervention in community structures – forms and services – for the benefit of the beneficiary, assistance in registering him/her in the different applications that he/she will need, e.g. electronic file, etc., material assistance according to the needs assessment of each case, preparation of reports and reports.
