Fundraising Manager - WOMEN DO BUSINESS

Sylia is the Fundraising manager of the organization WOMEN DO BUSINESS as of the 1st of March. Her duties include research and mapping of funding programs from both institutional and European bodies and private sector and charitable foundations, creation of a list of possible funding opportunities from institutes and organizations, creating, managing, and maintaining relations with old and new supporters of the organization, writing, presenting and submitting funding proposals, approaching new donors, keeping up with the actualization of every procedure of funding and weekly goals, collaboration and communication with other departments of the organization, supporting events and active projects.

DESMOS aims to coordinate the donating process between donors and organizations in need. Desmos does not attest to, or provide any guarantees regarding, the quality of the offered goods or their characteristics. Desmos designs and implements programs arising from financial donations by individuals, companies and charitable financial institutions aiming to meet the needs of vulnerable groups. In order to be able to sustainably run our programs, we need to cater for implementation costs such as research and update of needs, proposal compilation, implementation follow up, payments, financial and final reports to donors etc. The set policy of Desmos is to charge a 10% administrative fee after removing the applied 0.5% donation tax. Especially where individuals’ monetary donations up to 5.000 euros for combating the COVID-19 pandemic are concerned, Desmos waives its right to the aforementioned percentage and assumes the responsibility to absorb all administrative costs.
